JacksonPrince Harry’s (40) US visa documents are expected to be made public in the coming days following a judge’s ruling in Washington, according to reports from the Daily Mail and The Sun. The Duke of Sussex’s records are set to be disclosed by Tuesday, although certain sections will be redacted, and some documents will remain classified.
The decision comes after the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, filed a request for access to Harry’s visa records. The organization has argued that Harry may have provided inaccurate responses on his application regarding past drug use. In his 2023 memoir, Spare, the prince openly admitted to using substances such as cocaine, cannabis, and hallucinogenic mushrooms. Reports suggest that the released documents could reveal whether Harry answered “no” to questions about drug consumption on his application.
Prince Harry and his wife, Duchess Meghan (43), relocated to the United States in 2020 and currently reside in Montecito, California, with their two children. Legal experts note that all US visa applicants are required to truthfully disclose any history of drug use, with potential consequences, including deportation, for providing false information.
Despite this, former US President Donald Trump (78) has stated he has no intention of pursuing Harry’s deportation. Speaking to the New York Post, Trump remarked, “I don’t want to do that. I’m going to leave him alone.” He also took the opportunity to criticize Meghan, stating, “He has enough problems with his wife. She’s awful.” Trump previously suggested in 2024 that he might consider deporting the Duke of Sussex but now appears to have changed his stance.
As the court-mandated release approaches, the controversy surrounding Harry’s US residency status continues to draw significant public attention.
